Kansas City Chiefs Tickets

The Kansas City Chiefs got off to a slow start against the Oakland Raiders at the Oakland Coliseum this past Sunday. They failed to score in the first quarter for the first time when Patrick Mahomes has started at quarterback. The first quarter ended with the Raiders up 10-0.

Unfortunately for the Raiders, Patrick Mahomes decided to start playing in the second quarter. Mahomes threw four touchdowns before halftime along with 278 yards. That would be all the scoring to be had for the rest of the game as both teams struggled to find the end zone (or get into field goal range for that matter). The Chiefs failed to produce any success on the ground. They were only able to muster up 31 yards on 22 carries with a long of only 6 yards.

Luckily, Patrick Mahomes ended with 443 yards through the air. Two receivers eclipsed over 100 yards in a true aerial display. It was a coming out party for Demarcus Robinson who tallied six catches for 172 yards and two touchdowns. Travis Kelce was his Pro-Bowl self as usual finishing his day with 7 catches for 107 yards and one touchdown. Mecole Hardman, a speedy rookie receiver from the University of Georgia announced himself to the NFL as well. Hardman will be a deep threat for Mahomes and started his career off nicely with 4 catches for 61 yards and a toucdown. The game ended 28-10 with the Chiefs taking the victory and improving to 2-0 on the season.

Next week the Chiefs host the red-hot Baltimore Ravens led by Lamar Jackson who has been torching defenses. The Ravens can score on the ground and through the air averaging 41 points per game this season. Mahomes and the Chiefs are going to have to be able to put points on the board if they want to beat the Ravens. All-in-all this is set up to be a battle between two of the most electric offenses in the NFL right now. A must watch for football fans. Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Chiefs will be rocking for this upcoming game. In Week 14 of last season, the Chiefs won 27-24 in a game that was an instant classic.
