Two of the emerging powers of the West follow with the Thunder going head-to-head with the Rockets and then the Portland Trail Blazers and Utah Jazz round out the night.
The NBA will also be playing games on international ground. These games are usually called the NBA Global Games, which are a series of games with NBA teams that are played outside the United States and Canada. This year the Philadelphia 76ers and Dallas Mavericks concluded the preseason in Shanghai. On December 13. The Orlando Magic will play against the Chicago Bulls followed by the Orlando Magic vs. Utah Jazz on December 15 in Mexico City.
