Only a few bands are as prolific as Pearl Jam. People all around the world have been following this crew of rockers for over 30 years making hit album after hit album. Amassing a cult-like following, Pearl Jam is a gem from the past that gets finer with time.
In a similar vein as other legendary bands like Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, and Alice In Chains – these artists have produced timeless music that sends fans into abrupt chaos at the moment’s notice of a new tour.
With the announcement of their new album, “Gigaton” – which is set to drop in March – the band has also announced that they will be embarking on a 2020 Tour in support of this new music.
Ticket prices are set fairly high due to the high demand that Pearl Jam performances tend to draw. But many fans are happily buying tickets without a second thought.
I’m most excited to see which direction the band takes this new album. They’ve always successfully kept their signature sound from record to record, but always mixing it up with some experimentation to help keep fans excited.
It’s a difficult balancing act for massive bands like Pearl Jam. With such a wide discography and large population of fans to cater to, the members are well aware that not everyone will be happy with what they hear from this new project.
But that’s what makes the band so iconic. They’re an unrelenting force in music, that refuses to bend to other’s will. Fans can count on that much with this new album.
